Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at getinkedbyj.com or booking services with Inked by J, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services

Inked by J, LLC provides custom tattoo services, including consultations, tattoo sessions, and touch-up appointments. All tattoos are custom work created specifically for each client.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive tattoo services. Valid government-issued photo identification is required at your appointment. No exceptions.

Consultations

• All new clients must complete a consultation before booking a tattoo session
• Consultation fee: $50 (non-refundable)
• The consultation fee is applied toward your tattoo cost
• Consultations may be conducted by phone, video, or in person

Deposits

• A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your tattoo appointment
• Deposits are applied toward your final tattoo cost
• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances
• Deposits must be paid at time of booking

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions.

• Reschedule with 48+ hours notice: One-time reschedule allowed. Your deposit transfers to the new date.
• Reschedule under 48 hours: Deposit forfeited. A new deposit is required to rebook.
• No-shows: Deposit forfeited. A new deposit is required to rebook.
• Multiple reschedules: Only one reschedule is permitted per booking. Additional reschedules forfeit your deposit.

2-Day Back to Back Sessions

• Payment is due in full at the time of booking
• Sessions must be completed within 30 days of the first appointment
• Standard cancellation policy applies

Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash (preferred)
• Venmo / Cash App
• Credit/Debit Card (small processing fee applies)

Final payment is due upon completion of your tattoo session.

Health and Safety

• All clients must complete a waiver form before their appointment
• You must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications
• Do not consume alcohol or blood-thinning substances 24 hours before your appointment
• Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten a meal
• We reserve the right to refuse service if you appear intoxicated, under the influence, or if we determine tattooing would pose a health risk

Tattoo Waiver

All clients must sign a tattoo waiver/consent form before receiving any tattoo services. The waiver includes:

• Acknowledgment of risks associated with tattooing
• Medical history disclosure
• Consent for the tattoo procedure
• Aftercare responsibilities

Aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing. You will receive aftercare instructions after your session. Following these instructions is your responsibility. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect healing and final results.

Touch-Ups

• Touch-ups on work done by Inked by J are available at the standard touch-up rate ($400+)
• Touch-ups must be scheduled within 6 months of the original tattoo
• Touch-ups due to client negligence in aftercare are not guaranteed

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Intoxication or appearing under the influence
• Aggressive or disrespectful behavior
• Health conditions that may complicate the tattoo process
• Failure to provide valid identification
• Requests for inappropriate or offensive content

Intellectual Property

All custom tattoo designs created by Inked by J are original artwork. While you own the tattoo on your body, the original design remains the intellectual property of the artist. Designs may be photographed and used for portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

Photography and Social Media

We may photograph your tattoo for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. If you prefer your tattoo not be shared, please inform us before or during your appointment.

Limitation of Liability

Inked by J, LLC is not liable for any complications, infections, or adverse reactions resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions, pre-existing medical conditions, or allergic reactions to tattoo ink or supplies.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the laws of the State of Georgia.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
